SEP 18 Water Ceremony

Mountain Light Universalist Unitarian Church welcomes you to join us for our “Water Communion Service” on Sunday, September 18.

Our President, Gayle Wood, will facilitate this annual ceremony which invites congregants and the public to bring water collected from a favorite or meaningful place and combine it with the water of others in a symbolic joining of our shared faith as it also comes from many different sources. This is sure to be a meaningful experience for everyone. Water is a common need and sustainer for planet earth and the people on it, as is an abiding faith.

Mountain Light is located at 2502 Tails Creek Rd./Hwy 282 W in Ellijay. We are just past the fire station. Watch for the sign.

Services begin at 10:00 preceded by fellowship at 10:30. You will be greeted by friendly folks in casual attire.

You can find our website at mluuc.org or go to Facebook at Mountain Light Unitarian Universalist Church and like us there.

We have classes for school-aged children on the second and fourth Sunday of each month with teachers dedicated to helping children grow in love and faith.

MLUUC is a welcoming congregation. This simply means that people of any faith, ethnic background, gender, sexual orientation, or financial means are welcome to join our church family. We accept each other as we are. We believe that every person is important, should be treated fairly, and should be accepted as they were created.

You can preach a better sermon with your life than with your lips.  ~ anonymous
