Mountain Light Unitarian Universalist Church is a small congregation with a big investment in Social Justice.  Every month, our congregation collects donations for various “Giving Tree” projects.  Usually, these are collections for disaster relief or other large-scale programs where our gifts are added to those from other compassionate sources, creating a greater contribution to those in need. We also like to direct our “Giving Tree” contributions to local needs such as the Gilmer County Food Pantry.

We are too small to provide ongoing grants to individuals, but we sometimes do select a local group or family as our monthly beneficiary.  If you or someone you know needs help, please feel free to send us a brief explanation of what we might do to help you.  Requests should be sent to info@mluuc.org with “Help” in the subject line.

NOTE: We are not equipped for immediate needs assistance (food, bills, supplies, etc.).  Such requests should be directed elsewhere.
