Mountain Light Unitarian Universalist Church welcomes speaker Kathie Woehr, Sunday, August 4.  Kathie is the daughter of long-time members Terry and Ted Woehr.
You can get to know our church and its people when Kathie recalls her days at Camp Unirondack, starting from the time she was a young camper of thirteen.  Her story of continuing on with the camp as a worker through the years, until the present time, is sometimes humorous and at times touching.  The Unitarian Universalist principles, and how she uses them to live her life, are inspiring and motivating.  Join us and share her journey.
Mountain Light is located at 2502 Tails Creek Road, Hwy 282 W, in Ellijay.  We are right past the fire station.  Watch for the sign.
Services are held at 10:30 preceded by coffee and fellowship at 10:00. You will be greeted by friends and neighbors from as far away as Chatsworth. Please be comfortable in casual dress.
You can find us at mluuc.org or on Facebook at Mountain Light Unitarian Universalist Church and like us there.
We have classes for school-aged children on the second and fourth Sunday of every month.  The teen class is growing and the teens participate in our services once a month.  Come join the fun.
Mountain Light is a welcoming congregation. That simply means that we welcome you to our church family regardless of you faith, ethnic background, gender, sexual orientation, or financial means.  We accept one another as we were created, and we come here because we like each other the way we are.
“Forget the day that has been cut off from thy existence; disturb not thyself about tomorrow, which has not come, rest not upon that which is no more; live happily one instant, and throw not thy life to the winds.”  ~ Omar Khayyam
