MAR 13 – Congregants met today to discuss our approach to the pandemic of the 2019 Novel Coronavirus a.k.a. COVID-19 (SARS-CoV-2). The consensus was that the responsible thing to do is to discontinue large gatherings at Mountain Light in accordance with our Principles and the advice from various health services.

The Board voted to accept the recommendation of the congregants present while also considering comments sent by email. Therefore, Sunday services will be canceled until Sunday, April 12.

If the COVID-19 pandemic seems to be resolving by then, we will resume Sunday services on Easter at the church and at the normal time (10:30) rather than the offsite, sunrise service we have observed the past few years.

In the meantime, small groups may still be meeting at the church, such as Movie Nights (MAR 13 and 15) and Games Night (MAR 14). Please observe the CDC recommendations for personal safety when in public (click here). Be safe.
