Here’s My UU 4 U

MLUUC is beginning a new sermon series entitled: “Here’s My UU 4 U”.  Members of the congregation will volunteer to describe one of their favorite Unitarian Universalists who serves as an inspiring example of Unitarian Universalist principles and values.  These exemplary people we celebrate can be figures, prominent or little known, from our Unitarian or Universalist history or people you know whose personal behavior or guidance has served you well in gaining greater understanding of our UU values of freedom, reason, tolerance, and moral strength.

Presentations may be from 5 to 20 minutes in length, as volunteers choose.  We can fill our 20 minute sermon period during the worship service with 3 or 4 short presentations, one long one, or a combination.

The first presentations in the series will be on Sunday, 24 July.  We will schedule additional presentations in the series on occasional Sundays as members of the congregation volunteer.  As volunteers come forward, we may schedule presentations on successive Sundays or on Sundays that are a month or two apart.

To volunteer for a presentation, email Bruce Wood via info@mluuc.org, or speak with him at church.
