Earth Day is Saturday. Join us for our keep Gilmer clean participation (check News for information). Then on Sunday, in an intergenerational service, we will talk about the green programs available at Mountain Light, especially our recycling program. We will explain how it works, how to participate, and why it is important.
Ecotheology focuses on the interrelationships of religion and nature, particularly in the light of environmental concerns. It generally starts from the premise that a relationship exists between human religious/spiritual worldviews and the degradation of nature. It is important for people of faith to be involved in the protection of the Earth.
