Rev. Dr. Edward Frost, Biography

Dr. Edward Frost is Senior Minister Emeritus of the Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Atlanta where he served from 1989 to his retirement in 2005. Prior to Atlanta, he served a thirteen year ministry in Princeton NJ. He has also served congregations in Maine and Massachusetts. He holds degrees from Barrington College, Bangor Theological Seminary, Boston University School of Theology (Master in Counseling and Pastoral Care) and the University of Chicago (Doctor of Ministry).

Dr. Frost is the author/editor of With Purpose and Principle, a history of the development of the UU Purposes and Principles and Coming Alive, a book of sermons and other writings. He received the Borden prize for sermon writing in 2005 with his sermon, Playing with the Italians.

Dr. Frost is a model railroad enthusiast, has a great love of the Southwest and of the English countryside (he was raised in England) and enjoys travel, reading and gardening. He has three adult children and five grandchildren.
