Unitarian Universalists celebrate the inclusion of many faiths. Rev. Keller’s sermon is very timely because September 09 marks the beginning of the Jewish High Holy Days known as the Days of Atonement.  She explores the real intention and requirements of people seeking forgiveness at this time for the wrongs of the past year. It may not be what you assume.

Rev. Marti Keller is a minister with the Unitarian Universalist Women’s Federation. She has been a UU parish and community minister for 20 years. Prior to ordination, she was a journalist, cultural critic, and advocate on behalf of women and their families.

Currently, Rev. Keller is the consulting minister for one year at the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship in Auburn, Alabama. A self-described Jewish UU, Marti is past president of UUs for Jewish Awareness, co editor of “Jewish Voices in Unitarian Universalism” and former vice president of the Board of the Society for Humanistic Judaism.
