In September 1999, Mountain Light Unitarian Universalist Church filed its Articles of Incorporation and secured its first regular home, a space rented from the Catholic Church in Ellijay GA.  That same year, on December 5, we held our Charter Sunday, accepting the first members.

On October 27, 2019, Sunday’s service is designated as a celebration our first twenty years as a beacon of liberal faith in Gilmer and surrounding counties.  If you would like to participate or have suggestions for the celebration, please send your message via email to anniversary@mluuc.org.
