On 2018 February 18, Mountain Light Unitarian Universalist Church welcomes Rev. David-Michael Searcy as our Speaker.

Rev. Searcy’s topic is “Be My Valentine”.  He will discuss how Valentine’s Day is a time to tell our loved ones, as well as friends with whom we may not agree, that we love them.  It is a time to practice Jesus’s commandments to love God, love your neighbor, and to practice Buddha’s teachings of compassion for all human beings regardless of nationality, religion, race, gender, creed, or sexual creation.  We all want to live in oneness and harmony as one world under God/Goddess.

Mountain Light, 2502 Tails Creek Road (282 West) in Ellijay, is a Welcoming Congregation.  We welcome guests of all faiths, ethnicities, and gender identifications.  Our coffee and fellowship begins at 10:00, followed by the service at 10:30 to 11:30.

Religious Education is provided for children on the second and fourth Sundays of every month.  Children are also welcome to attend services in the sanctuary.  Our next Religious Education date for children is February 25.  For information about our 7 Unitarian Universalist Principles and our future services, please go to mluuc.org.
