Sunday, June 18

Ed Wolpert, a member of our Mountain Light Unitarian Universalist Church family, will be speaking about Father’s Day from a unique perspective at our worship service on Sunday, June 18.  He became a single parent of two children, 8 and 10, in 1976 and has had a variety of unusual experiences bringing them up.  He’ll share anecdotes as well as provide social commentary about parenting in the 70s and 80s. He will be joined by his daughter, Carolyn, who will have her own perspective on fatherhood and daughterhood.  The title of Ed and Carolyn’s presentation is “Bringing Up Father”.

Mountain Light, 2502 Tails Creek Road (282 West), in Ellijay is a Welcoming Congregation.  We welcome guests of all faiths, ethnicities and gender identification.  Our coffee and fellowship begins at 10 AM, followed by the service from 10:30 to 11:30.

Religious Education is provided for children.  Children are also welcome to attend our services in the sanctuary.  For information about our 7 Unitarian Universalist Principles and our future services, please go to mluuc.org.
