From President Gayle Wood and the Board of Directors:

On December 19, as Ann, Gayle, and Terry were meeting to sign our offer of $130,000 on the church, the realtor representing the Marshals’ Office received an offer of $200,000 (sight unseen) from an individual unknown to us.  We are now waiting to see if the $200,000 offer was accepted.

We will certainly continue to hold our services at our present church.  We do not know if the property will be sold or rented.  Until we know something definite, we will delay meeting at the Low’s beautiful carriage house on their property.

In the meantime, we are back to looking at rental property and or a suitable purchase property.

We are not discouraged.  We will find a location that is meant for Mountain Light Unitarian Universalist Church.
