DEC 11 Service

Sunday, December 11, will bring JueMiao MialMing from Heart Chan East Regional Retreat Center to Mountain Light Unitarian Universalist  Church. MiaoMing, Abbot of the center, will present an overview of the practice of Chan and how it relates to and benefits normal daily life from the physical, mental and spiritual perspectives. Open discussion will follow the talk.  Adrienne Corticelli will be service leader.

Services begin at 10:30 am preceded by coffee and conversation at 10:00 am. You can find out more about Mountain Light and what we do by going to our site at mluuc.org or find us on face book and like us there.

We have classes for school aged children on the 2nd and 4th Sunday of the month. Children are encouraged to participate in the services.
Mountain Light is located at 2502 Tails Creek Rd./Hwy. 282 West in Ellijay. We are on the fire station road. Watch for the sign.

We are a Welcoming Congregation and welcome all faiths, ethnics groups, people of any sexual preference or gender identification. We accept all who join us as they are. We come each Sunday because we like and accept one another the way we are when we come together.

“We see each other the way we ourselves are, not as others are.”
