Mountain Light Unitarian Universalist Church presents its ongoing  “UU For You” series on Sunday, December 4. Speaker Mary Anderson, will tell the story of a Unitarian Universalist minister, Waitstill Sharp, and his social worker wife, Martha, who left their children and the safety of their home to save refugees as the Nazis marched across Europe. She will speak about how this inspired her to follow the UU churches teachings to right the wrongs against our fellow man. Mary, is a retired Tulane University School of Medicine professor.
