NOV 27: Rev. David-Michael Searcy

2016-07-31gMountain Light Unitarian Universalist Church again welcomes the Reverend David-Micheal Searcy as guest speaker on Sunday, November 27. Reverend Searcy’s topic, titled “The Peace Train”, will remind us that we collectively create our reality.  We can no longer cling to victim consciousness. He reminds us that we should not wait for some powerful force or politician to swoop in and rescue us or be our redemption.  The power of life and death is in our thoughts and our tongues.  As always, there will be an open discussion following the service.

Mountain Light is located at 2502 Tails Creek Rd./Hwy 282 West in Ellijay. We are on the fire station road. Watch for the sign.

Services begin at 10:30 am preceded by coffee and conversation beginning at 10:00. Dress is casual. Folks are friendly.

Classes for school-aged children are held on the second and fourth Sunday of each month.
