Sunday, October 23

Mountain Light Unitarian Universalist Church welcomes the Reverend/Doctor, Scott Dillard, as guest speaker Sunday, October 23. Rev. Dillard is a professor of rhetoric at Georgia College and State University in Milledgeville.  He is an ordained interfaith minister who speaks in Unitarian pulpits throughout the Southeast.  Rev. Dillard’s talk Sunday, entitled “The Spiritual Side of Grief “, addresses how to cope with losing someone close to us when we feel at a loss about just how to cope.  By viewing the grieving process as a spiritual journey, that teaches us about ourselves and about life, we can better learn to handle losing another in this world. This talk is sure to be a comfort to those who have lost loved ones and are having a difficult time coping.
