OCT 02

Mountain Light Unitarian Universalist Church will welcome speaker Jan W. Day, Unit Director for the Gilmer County Boys and Girls Club.  Jan also serves as the Coordinating Facilitator for Gilmer County Stewards of Children, focusing on the issue of child sexual abuse.  She will share how these two programs are working to make a positive impact in the lives of these children and their parents, guardians, and others who may love and care for them.  Learn how you can become involved as volunteers and trainers.

Services begin at 10:30 preceded by conversation and coffee at 10:00.  You will be greeted by friendly folks. Dress is casual.

Mountain Light is located at 2502 Tails Creek Rd./Hwy 282 W. We are on the fire station road. Watch for the sign.

We have growing classes for school-aged children on the second and fourth Sunday of the month. Our dedicated teachers help children learn to respect and grow in love for each other and the planet.

Mountain Light is a welcoming congregation. We welcome people of all faiths, ethnic backgrounds, sexual orientation and gender identification. We come each Sunday because we like and accept one another the way we are.

GOD HAS NO HANDS BUT YOURS.
