Sunday, August 14

Are you curious about who inspires Unitarian Universalists to follow their faith?  If so, then join us this Sunday, 2016 August 14, as we continue our series: “Here’s My UU 4 U”.  Two Mountain Light members will share short presentations on one of the people who motivates them in pursuing the ideals represented in our Seven Principles.  Our President, Gayle Wood, will be speaking about Olympia Brown, and Director Ed Wolpert will be speaking about Jim McKinney.

Also, being the second Sunday of the month, we will be offering our Youth Religious Education (RE) program. This week’s class will be exploring Native American (Amerindian) spirituality, and there will be fun activities to help them gain an understanding of other cultures and their beliefs.

Services begin at 10:30, but our doors are always open by 10:00, for coffee and snacks. Come by early to socialize with our warm and friendly congregation.

Following this service, we will have our monthly Board of Directors meeting.  Guests are always welcome to attend.
