Sunday, July 03

Mountain Light celebrates the 4th of July early this year with our 3rd annual Red, White, & Blue Dessert Fest.  Please feel free to bring white (or vanilla) cakes, pies, pastries, etc.  Of course, you may consider bringing strawberries, blueberries, whipped cream, ice cream… pretty much anything red, white, and/or blue.  Be creative. The feasting begins at ten.
At 10:30, our Sunday Service begins.  Our speaker this week will be Mark Bodnar, certified yoga instructor and ASCM-Certified Exercise Physiologist.  His presentation, “Linking Spirituality with Physical Fitness and Recreation”, examines the many facets determining our overall health and wellbeing.  We will look at the relationship between physical, mental, emotional, social, and spiritual health.  How might fitness and recreation deepen our spiritual growth?  Mark will be leading us in song, with his guitar, as well.
After the service, stay for conversation and another pass at the Red, White, & Blue Dessert table. Then, our new Board of Directors will gather for the first meeting of the 2016-2017 Fiscal Year.  President Gayle Wood has extended an invitation to any congregant who would like to attend.  Also attending: Tom Norris (Secretary), Terry Woehr (Treasurer), Ann Low (Director), and Ed Wolpert-(Director).
Have a wonderful and safe Fourth of July!
